A short assembly for the whole school was held and the the juniors and seniors were allowed to meet with re presentatives from the state universities, the regional col leges or OTI. The representa tives answered questions and handed out information sheets about college. During the pep assembly on Friday, Boy and Girl of the Month for November were named at Santiam. They were Patti Eastwood and Mark Ben- ! nett. Patti, a senior at San- I tiam, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eastwood, ..... Mark, who is a junior, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bennett. Santiam Wolverines down- ed the Central Panthers on Friday. The Wolverines led through the entire game and stomped the Panthers by a score of 91-55. The JV team didn’t fare so well against the Panthers, as they lost their game that evening. The Wolverines faced a double defeat Saturday with both the Varsity and JV teams I losing to Pleasant Hill. The Wolverines next game is on Thursday, Dec. 22 against Gervais on the Gervais floor. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thom as visited Sunday, December 11 at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eph Thomas in Portland. His father was cele brating his 86th birthday an niversary. Weekend visitors at the Hollis Turnidge home were their daughter, Carolyn Bre- jcha and her friend, Dawn Rizner of Beaverton.
