Election day is over and what a relief. My poor ears and eyes have suf fered no end with the gobs of political propaganda which have been emanating from the “boob tube.” Now we can get back to some real serious junk like the soap and cigarette ads. They are bad enough and are so far from the truth that few people think too much about them. They do sort of make one peeved once in awhile to think that the companies would put up with ad writers who insult our in telligence by such balderdash.
