A thought for the week — “Many a man has tried to pull the wool over his wife’s eyes by giving her the wrong yarn.” Enjoying a week’s vacation last week were Mr. and Mrs. Mel Eide with their first stop at Ashland where they took in the Shakespearean Festi val. Thej' made the trip by private plane with three other couples, Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Horn, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Rob ert Guthner of Salem. Dr. Horn and Mr. Guthner both took their planes. After re turning to Salem Mr. and Mrs. Eide left for Westport, Wn„ where they had good luck salmon fishing.
