Mr. and Mrs. Royal Schaer of Stayton were Sunday visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Britton, and din ner guests at the home of his mother, Mrs. Gwen Schaer. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Blumen- stein and family spent Sunday in Salem where they were din ner guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blumcnstein. Sr. They also visit ed at the homes of his brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Blumcnstein and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Blumcn stein. Lynn, who works pari of the year for the State Land Board, has developed a very in teresting sideline. He collects old bottles. Over the years he has gathered them from old t<Avns and ghost towns through out the West. His collection nas spilled over from their home into a small shop when« he now has some for sale. He has re cently published an illustrated collector's book on old bottles giving the monetary value of the various types. O K. Hirte is home on a two weeks vacation from his job at Round Butte Dam.
