dom'' forte feet long and fifteen feet high. The float features a
life siied Minute Man and three giant Savings Bonds in multi-
hued blooms including Hawaiian orchids. The “Bonds of Free­
dom" theme is a salute to the 22nd anniveraary of the Bond
program, and to the millions of Americana who today own nearly
147 billion in Series E and H Bonds.

her new position in West Palm
Beach. Fla. She is employed in

chiatric unit adjoining S t.
Mary's Hospital. Under the di­
rection of Dr James Dodd, a
rare method of psychiatric care
is being carried out which
shuns sheet restraint locked cell
and barred window. The hospit­
al will have a specialized staff
of 10. Miss Hlrte is one of six
psychiatric technicians. She has
a cottage right on the beach.
The nights are cool, but she
has found it difficult getting
used to the warm humid days.
Miss Hlrte was interested to

away Friday evening at a nurs­
ing home in Ix'banon, following

She was born at St. Charles,
Mich., October 10. 1870. She is
survived by
