One arrest was made for al lowing dogs to run at large and one IJnn county warrant was served for unauthorized use of an auto. There were 23 complaints turned in to the police and 16 of these were cleared. Fines collected for the month were $194.75 with the police car patrolling 1.486 miles, using 1921 gallons of gasoline, ac cording to Police Chief Ron Meacham. Bids on gasoline for the per iod September 1, 1963 to Au gust 31. 1964 were opened and Union Oil Company was the tow bidder. Bills totaling $1,867.52 were authorized to be paid.
