Mrs. John Teeters
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Titze
were in Philomath Sunday to
attend the 56th Hinkle Family
reunion. Seventy-seven were
present and among ttxwe at­
tending were twv> uncles and an
aunt of Mrs Titze, who are
thought to be among the oldest
living triplets in the United
States. They will be 75 in a
few months and have spent
their entire life in Oregon.
A visitor at the P. N. Hughes
home last week was Ralph
Erickson, who had just com­
pleted his basic training with
the Army at Fort Ord. Calif.
H«* will be spending most of
his leave visiting relatives in
H<xxi River after which he will
be returning to Ft. Ord for fur­
ther training
Mrs. Mabel Bass of Salem
was a weekend guest hero at
the L. E. Wallen home.
Mr and Mrs. Ellis Christen­
sen of Pendleton were overnight
guests a week ago Friday of
Mrs. G. V. Christensen. Bonnie
and Stuart. They also visited
with other relatives in Stayton
during the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Boying-
ton of St. Petersburg. Fla., ar­
rived hero last week for a visit
with their daughter s family the
Russell Wilsons. The Boying-
tons are former residents here
and visit here almost every
