In Lyons Municipal court, Gerald Wayne Schmidt of Stay ton pleaded guilty of violation of the basic rule and paid $19.50 for fine and court coats. Mrs. Chester Robinson retun ed home last week after spend ing some time at Goldendale, Wn„ with relatives. While there she was quite ill and spent some time in the hospital there. A good-sized crowd was pre sent for the potluck dinner fol lowing regular services last Sunday at the Gates Commun ity church. Earlier, they all en joyed Mrs. Allis ton'a singing and accordion playing. Lynn CUtsforth received the citizenship award in the fifth and sixth grade room at the Gates school for the six weeks. Wednesday, May 29. students of the first four grades of the Gates school held their annual field day at the school. Includ ed were a picnic, races and contests.
