Star Puts on Program
For Rainbow Girls
The Rainbow Girls were en­
tertained last Wednesday after
their regular meeting by mem-
| bers of Marilyn Chapter OES.
Suzy Carlson is worthy advis­

her mother. Mrs. Don Carlson,
is Mother Advisor.
Sylvia Duncan, worthy ma­
tron of the OES assisted other
members with the program
which was a take-off of the

Mauel Nelson acted as pro­
gram director and commentat-1

rence Welk.
Ruby Brisbin presented a
skit: "The Lennon Sisters.”
Laurel Johnson, Elsie Völkel
and Gladys Lake, sang sever­
al selections; dancers were Mr.
and Mrs. Ervin Peterson. Mary
Sheythe sang, accompanied by
John Kelly on the ukelele. Jim
Culbertson of Mehama sang
two numbers, accompanied by
his mother. Mrs. Cal Culbert­
son. at the piano.
Group singing followed the
other entertainment and then
refreshments were served by
members of the Eastern Star.

It was announced that a cloth-

ducted by the church during
tiie second and third weeks in
| May. Clean, used, wearable
■ clothing will be accepted, es­
pecially warm clothing.
A kitchen "cl ar-up " for the
church hall is planned tor June,
at which time it is hoped to
have the windows washed and
the curtains cleaned.
Devotions were given by Mrs.
Clyde Rogers, who chose as
her theme. "God's Resources."

announced that Mrs.

teresting slides entitled "Cable
from Pakiston."

Hospital Auxiliary
Goes To Silverton
The Santiam Memorial Hoa-
pital Auxiliary was well repre­
sented at an area lunch<xxi
meeting of Hospital Auxiliaries
held recently at Silverton.
The administrator of the Sil-
verton Hospital discussed the
History of Medicine and re-
ports of the various auxiliaries
were heard and discussed.
The Santiam Memorial Aux­
iliary was commended for its
interest in and service to their
hospital.

sa Van Nuys, Amanda Gavette,
Helen Kimmel, Reta Cruson.

determined by the Assessor pursuant to ORS 309.028
is 25 percent.
It shall be the duty of the persons interested to
appear at the time and place appointed. Petitions
for adjustment of assessments must be filed with the
Board of Equalization not later than the Monday of
