MOFFATT. Ed.-Pub. BOARD HAS TOUGH JOB The new board of education which will be elected Munday. April 1 will be faced with many tough problems, therefore x behooves every voter in the area to use his own good judg ment when going to the polls. One of the board's first jobs will be to present a good sound budget. It will be a big task to decide between the wants and the necessities. Voters will have to take into consideration that this new budget will have some pretty high figures in it. They, too must realize that this budget will be for the total eiwt of operating three schools two elementary schools and one high school. Candidates for ttie position should lie voted on according to their sincerity of purpose The candidate who is running merely io try to oust some per son from his school job or re- tain some other person certain ly should not be considered at this time. This is no time for personalities to enter into any phase of the coming election. The responsibility rests en tirely' with the voters whether this type of candidate is chosen Keep in mind that school business is not a political pres sure business. School boards have one thing which should be uppermost in their nunds and that is proper education for all the young ixsjple of the area. There is no sound reason why any one group sliould try to railroad any candidate into of fice tor personal satisfaction alone. We must learn to work in harmony as we are now in one district. The Enterprise is not endors- ing any candidate but atlmon- ishes each one of jvu to use sound judgment when casting your ballot Monday, April I.
