Studies »how that the average rental of a helicopter would be approximately $300 per hour for a machine with a 5.000 pound lilting capacity. Machines with 10,000 and 20.000 pounds bit ing capacities might be rented for approximately $500 to $800 per hour, respectively. This high cost per hour is the reason why conditions have to be such that the operation* can be carried out quickly and ef ficiently.
