High school staff members are rated for their teaching effect iveness and their pay is direct ly related to the final rating. The board rejected a pro posed beginning salary of $5,000 for high school teachers at this time. At present ,a high school teacher begins at $4800. The board also postponed for the deliberations of the budget board an increase in pay tor coaches and the purchasing ol a scoreboard for the football field. The board voted 6-1 in favor of the reorganization petition.
