Mr. and Mrs. Dick Parker and daughters plan to spend the Christmas holidays with his mother, Mrs. Edna Hutcheson, In Oakland, Calif, Mr and Mrs. George Stovall and Colleen drove to Sandy last Sunday evening, where they stayed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Whitlock. Monday and Tuesday, they took Colleen to the U of O Medical School, in Portland, where she went through the clinic at the Crip pled Children's Division of the school. She had interviews with speech, physical and oc cupational therapists, other spe cialists and was examed by many medical specialists. After leaving Portland Tuesday, the Stovalls drove to Canby for the basketball game. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. George Stovall and Colleen drove to the coast. They report the weather wax very mild, and though a little misty at times, ft was very warm and the sun came out frequently. Plans were completed for the Christmas party to be hi-Id Monday. The Detroit school Christmas program "Christmas in Foreign l^inds and Home" will lie held in the school gym Thursday. December 20 at 7 30 p .tn. Following the program Santa Claus will pass out sacks of candy and nuts to the children of tiie Detroit-Idanha area.
