The Martha Troxel Circle of
the Christian church met Tues­
day evening at the home of
Mrs. Stanley Williams. Mrs.
Albin Cooper presided at the
business meeting. The group
voted to bring packages of flow­
er or vegetable seeds to be sent
to the Turner Memorial Home
for Valentines.
Mrs. Wilma Shepherd present­
ed the program which was an
“Introductory Study of Africa.”
Mrs. Richard hTeeman led
the devotions and Mrs. William
Shepherd and Mrs. Williams
were hostesses.
The February meeting will
be on the 9th at the home of
Mrs. Williams.
Mehama Women's
Club Board Meets
MEHAMA—The Board mem­
bers of the Mehama Women’s
club held their annual meeting
at the home of Mrs. Raymond
Branch Wednesday afternoon,
January 13. Mrs. Branch who
has the power of attorney for
the club, read the new incorpor­
ation laws and they were dis­
cussed by the group. It was de­
cided by the members of the
board that the club should keep
the incorporation in force, and
the secretary was instructed to
send in the necessary papers.
Seven members of the 10-
member board were present for
the
meeting.
Refreshments
were served by the hostess.

Girls Meet at Hellers
The Minne-ha-ha Camptire
girls met at the home of our
leader, Mrs. Heller January 18.
Frances Barker was president
for our meeting.
The main thing we talked
about was our Memory books
and our leader said we had
better get busy and work on
them. For entertainment we
danced to records and closed
our meeting by singing the
Campfire Girls Law.
