Jim Melting was high point man for the Mill City team. From Lyons came word that Mrs. Alex Bodeker was honored guest at an all-ocmmunity party recognizing her many years as telephone operator. She had been an operator in Lyons for the past 20 years. After the party and the receiving of many lovely gifts Mrs. Bodeker said "Now I know what it feels like to be Queen for a Day.’ ” Thurrsday, Dec. 10, 1959 held Friday evening with John ny Lambrecht acting as master in the absence of Warner Hamp ton.
