Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Whitaker of Portland, were guests at the home of his parents, Mr and Mrs. Herbert Whitaker Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Garbe of West Stayton, were Sa urdav viistors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Blackburn. Mr. and Mrs. Houdv Barrows and Linda of Portland, were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. MacGregor. Mr. and Mrs. John Lute of Mill City are announcing the en gagement of their daughter, Pa- trilla Lute to Clark Stevenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Steven son, also of Mill City. Terry Lynn Jull. baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jull of Corvallis, spent from Friday until Monday at the home of his uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. William Shepherd. The Gene Gregorys had the mis forture of having the right side of ! their car caved in while they were inside enjoying the show here. Mrs. Gregory said they had no ascertained ed who caused the damage. Mrs. Harvey Tolbert is spending a week in Oakridge visiting her sister. Mrs. Paul Heacock Mr Tolber. is Bpending a month at Reno, Nev., with his son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Bertram Tolbert. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thielke of Eugene were in town last week look ing after property interests. They state they like Eugene very much, in cluding the home they have purchased there. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. (Bill) Timm left Tuesday morning for their home in Potter Valley, Calif., after a week’s stay with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bia kburn and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Charles French re- turned home recently following a visit with relatives at. Jameson, Mo. Her mother, Mrs. Verne Cox and ne phew.
