The oc casion honored not only the birthday and wedding anniversaries of many present, but the fact that it was 50 years to ths day that Mr. Witt came to America from Germany. He has lived most all of that time in Mill City. Present were Mr. and Mrs. John Plambeck of Mill City; Mr. and Mrs. Hans Plambeck of Corvallis and their •children Jan.ce and Douglas; Henry Bock, Marie Bock, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bock and chidlren Carla. Larry and Doretta Bock and Mrs. Else Al len all of Salem; Mr. and Mrs. Dar win Biwer. Miss Suzanne Biwer, Ar thur Whitbeck, Michael, Terry and Darwin Jr. also from Salem; Mr. and Mrs. William Whitlock, Mr. and Mrs. Rutherford Whitlock and child ren. Barbara. Larry, Walter. Willie. »David, Mary, Doreen and Louise, all of Sandy; Mr, and Mrs. Edward Whitlock. Bennie and William, Toby Eldridge, also of Sandy; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bassett and children, Fran- j cis and Gerald of Edmonds, Wash ; Mrs. Lucy Huppert of Palo« Verdes Estates, Calif; Walter Witt, Miss I Evelyn Witt, and Mrs. Mae Witt of Glendale, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Plambeck of Corvallis will visit in Mill City later in the month but were unable to at tend the reunion Sunday. All but seven members of the family clan were present. Double Wedding at Vancouver Unites Two Couples from Idanha IDANHA—Miss Martha Mason from Detroit, Fred O Taylor and Miss Clydia Storey from Idanha and Tex Emerson from Mill City were i married in a double ceremony at Van Oliver, Wash., Monday at noon. They were married in the Methodist parsonage by the Rev. W. S. Bleak- ley. Rev. and Mrs. Bleakley are from Ireland and Mrs. Bleakley sang an old Irish song for the couples. Af ter the ceremony the couples returned to Detroit for a wedding dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chick Mason. Both brides wore navy blue suits with corsages of white carna tions. Miss Mason wore » white hat trimmed with blue. Mr. and Mr s Emerson have rented i an apartment at Mill City. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor have bought a home in Idanha. Mr. Pakula is employed by the Forestry Depart ment. Attending were Mrs. Mary Crowthers, Mrs. Les LaMunyan, Mrs. Winifred Moore. Mrs. Roy Podrab- -ky. Mrs E. Speers, Mrs. Carol Humes. Mrs. Lura Muniz of Boise, Idaho, is visiting at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bain. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Farmen and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Soren son took a trip to Crater Lake over the holidays. Weekend gue-ts at the Ernest Gra ham home were Mr. and Mrs. Willis Erma of Portland. Mr. Erma lived here many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott and Don Moffatt were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stevens of Lyons. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Ohmart and son« left this week for a three-week va cation trip to Southern California and Mexico, planning to take in all the usual spots of interest Mias Erma uraham, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Graham, has returned to San Francisco where she is employed in the personnel department of PGE. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Russell spent the holiday weekend at the coast, report ing the weather perfect. They took in the parade in Mill City before leav ing and were favorably impressed.
