An impressive commencement pro­
gram honored the 1959 graduates of
Santiam Union High school here.
Guest speaker for the occasion was
Dr. Charles McClure of the Depart­
ment of Humanities at Oregon Col-,
lege of Education whose topic was
“Poetry of Democracy.”
The program was as fallows: pro-
cessional, school band, directed by
Earl Loucks; invocation, Rev Robert
