Wendell Jones, rang.r at the De­
troit Ranger station has been trans­
ferred to Medford. Mr. and Mrs.
Jones and children will be moving to
their new location in a few weeks.
The Deanh* Kindergarten met on
Tuesday afternoon at the home of
Mrs. Phyllis Myers with several vis­
itors present, since new beginners
for thia year’s kindergarten term
; were invited to become acqua nted. I
' A secretary-treasurer was elected
since Mrs. Wendell Jone« will be leav­
ing the community. Plans were made
for a dance to be held sometime in
March with the funds being used for
the kindergarten. Mrs. Carol Rice has
resigned as teacher and will be re­
placed by Mrs. Adele Fletcher
Don Ketchum, who was injured in
an accident several weeks ago was
transferred two weeks ago to Eman­
uel hospital in Portland. He u re­
ported to be much improved.
