Father-Son Banquet
To Be Held Feb. 12

held their meeting Tuesday afternoon
at the home of Mrs. Burl Smith, with
a large attendance. Mrs. Smith’s home
was beautifully decorated carrying
>ut the Valentine motif. Mrs. Prich­
ard presided over the business ses­
sion with Ethel Huffman secretary,
P-ot of various committees were
heard, with a good report from the i
aiiuinivian dinner. Plans were com­
pleted for the Father and Son ban- I
quet which will be held on Thurs­
day evening, February 12 at the All
Purpose Room at the Mari-Linn school I

speaker of the evening. Plans were
ai>o made for the World Day of
Prayer which is Friday February 13.
It will be held jointly at the Presby- |
jterian hurch in Mill City. Rev. Ruth
Cotton, Orpha Roy and Alice Huber |
| met with the Mill City ladies Wed­
nesday afternoon to complete plans.
A good report was given on the work
at the church, with the ceiling of the
basement completed.
At the close of the meeting Mrs
