M. Family Night Supper. Fol lowing the Supper the Rev. Dr. Paul N. Poling, pastor of the First Pres byterian Church of Salem gave a talk on his recent trip to the Far East. Dr. Poling is a member of the Com mission on Ecumenic al Missions and Relations of the United Presbyterian Church, USA, and on assignment from the Commission recently made a tour of the work of the church in the Far East. Clinton Land, («-Founder The Rev. James Hardy, pastor of the Mehama Church and B. L. Kirsch an Elder attended the meeting of the Willamette Presbytery in Cottage Grove on Tuesday, January 27. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Myers of Salem visited recently at the Steve Myers and Bill Bickett homes. Mr. Myers, who is convelscing from major sur gery was able to go on his fir-t fish ing trip in several months the first of last week. The Myers formely lived in the Elkhorn area and at Mill City. Sunday guests at the Milton Roten home were Mr. and Mrs Herb Whit aker of Mill City and their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry VS hitaker of Salem.
