The Forrests are the parents of a baby boy born in the Salem Me morial hospital Saturday, July 6th. The new boy weighed 7 lbs. 1 or., and has been named Gary Lee. He has a sister Debra. Mrs. Glen Julian entertained the ladies of the W. S. C. S. of the Lyons church at her home in Fox Valley July 16th. After a membership bus- ness meeting a covered dish picnic dinner was enjoyed in the lovely grove at the Julian home. Freda Thayer and Donnie Aardap- | pel got home Monday evening from a | three weeks trip which took them to ¡the Eastern Coast. They were accom- pained to Missouri by Mrs. S. A. Etzel and four children who remained for a longer visit at the home of Mrs. Etzel’s parents. They will return home by train. An older brother Jim Aardappel returned to Oregon with Freda and Donnie. He has work in Boardman, Oregon. They visited the boy’s father in Virginia. Freda has a teaching position in the Paisley High School which opens August 25.
