The meeting was called to order by President Mary Wright. There was further discussion on the high­ way project and a new committee, headed by Paula Grant, was selected. The Garden club suggested sending in a soil sample of what shrubs and flowers will grow in that particular soil. There was further discussion of the barbecue planned for the 27th at the Verne Shaw residence. The meeting was adjourned and all mem­ bers retired to card playing. Winning high was Dorothy Ziebert. Refresh­ ments were served by the hostess and it was announced that the next meet­ ing will be held at the jaycee hall with Velma Bilyeu as hostess. Mr. and Mrs. John Angelsey, 333 Grove St, have just returned from a six week visit with their son-in- law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Or­ ville Vogt and family of Healdsburg, Calif.
