Tuesday evening dinner guests last
week at the Ed Walz home were Mrs.
Malz’ uncle and family, Mr. and
Mrs. J. F. Trick and their son, Bern­
er Trick and family all from Calgary,
Alberta, and Mrs. Walz’ mother, Mrs.
Elsie Trick from Salem.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Monroe, Judy
and Linda visited during the weekend
with Mrs. Monroe's brothers family
the Max Montgomerys in Roseburg.
They also visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Bob Montgomery and daughter. ,
Visitors last week at the Raymond
Branch home were John, Alec and j
Kay Marston from Ashwood. The
Branchs, their guests, and Ivan
Darby all went to the coast, stopping
at Tillamook and Oceanlake Sunday.
Mr. Darby took the Marston child­
ren to their home Sunday evening.
The Frank Kimery family visited
during the weekend at the Joe Martin
home in Portland. Their daughter,
Verna returned home with them after
visiting a week with her uncle and
aunt.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walz and
Helen of Salem were accompanied
here by a group of friends to enjoy
a picnic at the Ed Walz home Sun- I
day. Twenty-four were present for ,
the picnic diner.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Patton and fam- ’
ily of Lebanon visited Sunday with
Mr. Patton’s grandmother, Mrs. Ma- [
bel Patton. They all went to Silver ‘
Creek Falls and later in the evening
visited with Ed Taylor.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Gollift were |
hosts at their home Sunday to the
Gervais Chapter of the Eastern Star
and their families for their annual
picnic.
Alameta Coffman, who is employed I
in Portland, visited at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Coffman over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. A) Molnar and Jimmy
from Oak Grove were visitors during
last week at the Frank Buckler home.
