to Portland Sunday to visit at the
home of Mr. Draper’s mother, Mrs.
Jack Johnson, and also with Mr. and

tured a knee while serving with
the Air Force at an Alaskan airbase.

At the Mason home this week is Mrs.
W. C. Taylor, who arrived here from
Seattle Monday.

Mill City. There will be a reception
following the ceremony.
According to Chuck Lovell, his
step-son, Richard Anderson, is now
with the U. S. Army in Korea. He
was originally at Fort Monmouth,
New Jersey, and attended electronics
school in Aberdeen, Maryland, fin-
ishing at the head of his class.
Jim Kesterson Monday proved
again that the North Santiam is a
good place to fish, and Mill City is
I as good as any place to fish the
river. He came out with an 18-inch
rainbow for his efforts. He said the
high water made it a good fight.

¡William F. Shepherd. Jr., Tuesday

hospital. Paternal grandparents are

new arrival tipped the scales at 8
pounds 15 ounces, and has been
named lx-Roy David.

friends present, who presented them
with a boutonniere and corsage, re
spectively, an anniversary cake and
greeting card shower in honor
their 28th wedding anniversary.
