Lyons Garden Club Takes
Trip to Walker Gardens
-LYONS—The Lyons Garden Club
held their July meeting with a trip
to the Walker Gardens between Al
bany and Corvallis Wednesday, July
13. There were six from the Mill City
Garden club and seven from Lyons
making the trip. They were each pre
sented with a Fuschia from Mrs.
Walker. After touring the gardens
they motored on to Avery park in
Corvallis whete they had lunch.
Those from Mill City making the
trip were Mmes. J. C. Kimmel, Ike
Myers, Walter Olmstead, Wendell-
Heller, Adolph Brunner, and Curtis
Cline. From Lyons were Mmes. Otto
Weidman, Fred Stienfelt, Orville
Downing, Phillip Pietrok, John Neal,
Alice Huber and Kathryn Neal.
