Basic School Funds
Distributed to Districts
State basic school fund warrants
aggregating $ 10,306,702.67, were is­
sued recently by Secretahy of State
Earl T. Newbry.
The amount represents the final 30
percent of revenue received under the
1953-54 basic school fund tax levy
under which the school districts have
received a total of $31,761,119.74 dur­
ing the year.
Of this current amount distributed,
Linn county received $457,237.36 and
Marion county $560,371.13.

tion and to join his wife and little

meeting will be held with work day
