World War II Veteran. Linn County Health Dept. Issues Warning on Lindane Lindane insecticide vaporizers -in- I tended by manufacturers for restau- I rant and home use have been on the market for some time. The U. S. Pub lic Health Service and the Food and Drug administration report that the I long-range effects of insecticide vap ors on the human body are unknown. For this reason they believe that caution is indicated regarding long continued exposure to the vaporized insecticides. They state that lindane vaporizers should not be used in I areas where food is processed or I stored and that the public should be | cautioned about the dangers of house- . hold application. The three recent deaths of West Coast children from exposure to or- , ganic insecticides emphasizes the need i for great care in handling these ma-1 I terials, says the Linn County Health t department. Those who use these in- I secticides are urged to read the labels I on the containers and to follow the | instructions for their use. The protec tion of children against accidental ex- I posure is obviously of great import- i a rice. J i in need of office forms see us—Enterprise Office
