C. where she will visit for about two months with her son and daugh­ ter-in-law, Col. and Mrs. Willis Potter. Mrs. Potter will be joined in Washington by her sister, Mrs. Clifford Trask of Fesno, who is fly­ ing from Los Angeles this week. Driving from Portland to join the family group early in December will be Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Potter, Mrs. Potter’s youngest son and his wife. A year ago the same group spent their mid-winter visit together in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. At that time Col. Potter was stationed in Texas. At the meeting of the Womans’ Council of the Christian church last Wednesday, the ladies voted to donate enough to the church treasury to finish paying for the piano-organo combination, and also to purchase linoleum for the parsonage living room. Rev. Streeter is chairman for the Willamette Pres­ bytery. Funeral services were held Satur­ day morning at Stayton for Harold Joseph Schumacher, 50, who died at Cutler City, Oregon. Mr. Schumacher was a resident here about 15 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mina Schumacher of Cutler City, his father, Frank Schumacher of Stayton, stepmother, Mrs. Frank Schumacher of Stayion and six sisters.
