with the Stayton Womens Society of
Christian Service, held at the Metho
dist Church in Stayton. Thursday af
ternoon. Mrs. Ray Nye, Stayton, and
Mrs. Alice Huber, Lyons, are sercetar-
ies of Missionary Education and Ser
vice.
The afternoon speaker was Mrs. J.
H. Baldwin from Corvallis. She talked
on the Mary J. Johnston hospital at
Manila in the Philippine Islands, and
was a nurse there when the Methodist
hospital was first built.
