Miss Nancy Wodtly of Stayton vi sited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Stout, Friday and Saturday of last week. A. W. (George) Beilin received a back injury in an automobile accident on hiway 36 between Florence and Junction City, Friday night. Everyone Welcome Jerry Home Economics Club of iSantiam Valley Grange Enjoys All Day Outing The Home Economics club of the I Santiam Valiev grange held their meeting Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Olin Spiva near Turner, with an all day meeting and pot luck dinner ser ved at the noon hour. Following the noon hour a business meeting was held, with the high lights centered on the annual harvest festi val and bazaar which is to be held (Saturday afternoon and evening, I September 26th. The theme chosen for the festival is “The Horn of Plenty)., I and the donation tickets for the af- ghan drawing are underway, with the following committees appointed to be in charge: dinner committee, Mel vina Franklin, Leora Stevens, Neta Horner, Garnett Bassett, Alice Huber, Blanche Syverson, Alta Bodeker, Bes sie Buckler, Ida Free and Sylvia Goodell; lunch and hamburgers, El aine Russell, Eva Bressler, Rose Coff man, Mabel Bass, Evelyn Trahan, Edith Rogers; bazaar table, Lucille Rogers, Anna B. Julian Viola Zander and Estella Spiva. It was also voted to buy a hambur ger grill. Those attending Tuesdays meeting were Leora Stevens, Melvina Franklin, Mabel Bass, Anna B. Julian, Viola Zander, Celene Taylor, Mae Patton, Bertha Basl, Fern Sletto, Jen nie Bohannon, Elizabeth Tayjor, Blanche Wagner and June Erickson from Fresno, Calif., who was a guest of the day, also a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sletto.
