sian River in the Redwoods and at

guests at the parental homes of Rev.

Sunday visitors of the Robert Ve-
ness family were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Monner of Portland and their two
children, Katie and David. The fami­
lies enjoyed an outdoor dinner before
the early show. Mr. Monner is a fea­
ture photographer on the staff of the
Oregon Journal.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stover and their
daughter Susan left Monday night for
Clear Lake, where they will spend a
few days. Their son Wilbur, is staying
with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ken Neilson. They were accompanied
by Miss Erlene Horseman, who is
visiting here.
Miss Norma Miller of Eugene, and
Miss Marion Pesheck of Albany,
were guests the past weekend of the
James Swans. They spent Saturday
and Sunday at East Lake. They report
the weather was grand after the
thunder storm of Friday afternoon,
but that they did not have much luck
fishing.
Mr. and Mrs. H. I. Plymale drove
to Springfield, Ore., Sunday, accom­
panied by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Plymale
of Lebanon. The two couples attended
services at the First Christian church
in Eugene, before going on to Spring­
field, where they visited at the Jake
Brock home. Mr. Brock is the uncle
of the Plymale brothers,

glesey's entertained their guests and
Mrs. Teter at a two o’clock dinner
after which Mr. and Mrs. Elmer An­
glesey and son, Delores Burton and
her brother, Johnny, and Mrs. Teter
took a sightseeing drive to Detroit
Dam and beyond.
