July 1, 195.3, over the amount limited
by Section 11, Article XI of the Con­

The reasons for increasing such
levy are:
1. Increased school population —
added teachers.
2. Increased cost of fuel, electricity,
supplies.
3. Teachers’ salaries.
The amount of tax, in excess of the
six percent limitation proposed to bo
levied by the rural school district of
Linn County, Oregon, for the fiscal
year beginning Julv 1, 1953, is $824.-
000.79.
