« PTA Christmas Meet Heid December 8 The Christmas meeting of the PTA was held December b at 8 p.m. in the grade school auditorium. Melvin Foster, PTA program chairman, was in charge of this most interesting ■ musical program. A group of second grade children ¡sang "Brahm’s Lullaby”, depicting ■ music in the home. A chorus of 8th 'grade girls sang several Christmas Carols, representing music of the church. Music in the school wa- ably i represented by the school band, under the direction of Earl Loucks. They ■ also played Christmas numbers. At the conclusion of the program the audience joined in a community sing of Christmas Carols, led by Al Nesbitt, who has been doing an ex cellent job as PTA music chairman. M rs. Hoeye accompanied on the piano. Santa Claus made his appearance and distributed gifts to all those pres ent. Refreshments of Christmas cakes and coffee were served by the 2nd and 3rd grade mothers.
