PTA Christmas Meet
Heid December 8
The Christmas meeting of the PTA
was held December b at 8 p.m. in the
grade school auditorium.
Melvin
Foster, PTA program chairman, was
in charge of this most interesting
■ musical program.
A group of second grade children
¡sang "Brahm’s Lullaby”, depicting
■ music in the home. A chorus of 8th
'grade girls sang several Christmas
Carols, representing music of the
church. Music in the school wa- ably
i represented by the school band, under
the direction of Earl Loucks. They
■ also played Christmas numbers.
At the conclusion of the program
the audience joined in a community
sing of Christmas Carols, led by Al
Nesbitt, who has been doing an ex­
cellent job as PTA music chairman.
M rs. Hoeye accompanied on the piano.
Santa Claus made his appearance
and distributed gifts to all those pres­
ent.
Refreshments of Christmas
cakes and coffee were served by the
2nd and 3rd grade mothers.
