Mr. and Mrs. William Rush and baby of Corvallis and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rush, Gates, were dinner guests at the Clarence Rush home. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gordon, Susie and Bobby, were in Salem at the home pf Mrs. (iordon’s sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Louis du Buy. Mis. Velma Carey and son, Jimmie, and her mother, Mrs. Cecelia Miller, were Portland visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carey. Other guests from Gates were Mr. and Mrs. Gale Carey and two children. At the Harold Wilson home were Mr. and Mrs. Don Carey and son from Stayton. Word was received the first of the week of the critical illness of M rs. Wilson’s mother in Cutbank, Mont. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson of Pendleton left Wednesday for Mon tana to be at the bedside of his grand mother. Mrs. Harold Wilson is con valescing at her home following a major operation and was unable to go Mrs. Gwen Schaer and children and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson and son. Royal, attended a family dinner tmerh is the home of Mrs. Klecker’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Millsap. Miss Janet Klecker will visit in Gates with her grandparents and in Salem at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dorland Swan until Christmas. Earle Henness, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Henness and Jimmy Carey, son of Mrs. Velmo Carey, both students at Willamette university, spent their vacation at the home of their parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Struckmeier were in Portland for the holidays at the homes of relatives, returning home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Findley left Thanksgiving morning for their new home in Richland, Wash., where he is employed. Mrs. Curtis Sweet from Eugene spent the weekend at the home of her niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Joaquin.
