The victory en abled the Mill City team to even the .season's series at two wins, two losses, and one tie. In a tight pitching duel, Davidson bested the Chief's Allen as he struck «out 13 men and effectively scattered three hits. The contest was high lighted for the local visitors in the seventh inning by Joe Boyle’s tre mendous triple to left field that ¡.cored Dale Benneth with the tying run. Ben nett had opened the inning with a hard single to left center and had ad vanced to third on Carey’s sacrifice when Boyle drove the ball high over the left fielder’s head. Kelly’s sewed up the contest in the tenth inning with Boyle scoring from second on Parker’s blow to left center.
