Oliver of Corvallis. They all spent Sunday at Suttle lake. Jerry’s Tavern has been leased to Pete Smith and Frank Gill, who have taken possession the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lyons, formerly of Gates, and now residing in Lyons were visitors here the last of the week. They have leased their residence here and moved to Lyons to be nearer his work. Mrs. Don Sullivan of Portland is the guest of her sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Garrison. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bentley of Lyons visited Sunday at the Edmund David home with their children. Information has been received from George Thomas, who is now in Mutaho, Kitega, Urunde Congo Beige, Africa, where he is serving as a missionary. Mr. Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Thomas, who with their family came to Gates more than 20 yers ago. He was pastor of the Mil! City Presbyterian church at one time. Weekend guests at the home of T.
