About 90 ladies attended the all-1 day session; and heard reports re-; gui ding the year’s club work. Those I present learned many new ideas suit able for their local clubs. After the I S business of the convention was com t plete, a very nice program was pre sented by the hostess group. Mirl Vauter of Timberline Gardens of Waterloo and G. Baker of Gladland Acres, Lebanon, spoke on "Culture of Gladiolus". Music for the Lebanon convention of the garden club district was fur nished by the “Pinafours”, a girl quartette of Lebanon high school; and reportedly the quartette was very nicely received. Mrs. Frank, state president-elect, gave some interesting highlights on a recent trip to the national convention in Biloxi. Miss. The ladies from this city expressed the feeling that the trip was well worth while and that they were dis appointed that Mill City did not have more members present.
