The Santiam Rebekah lodge held
initiation Wednesday night, with Julia
Bassett, noble grand, and Ada Ply-
male, vice grand in charge.
New
| members initiated were Mr. and Mrs.
| Charles Thomas and Al Yankus. Eight
[ members of the Faith Rebekah lodge
in Lyons attended also Mr. and Mrs.
Bob Massey from Gervais. Refresh
ments were served by Wilma Stewart,
Carman Barnhardt, Ruby Brisbin and
Antonia Thomas.
The first meeting of the square
dance club was held last Friday the
21st in the fire hall with a good turn
out. The club is open exclusively to
couples. The meeting nights will be
the first Monday and third Friday of
the month.
Harry Wood who has been very ill,
is feeling better and would enjoy hav
ing his friends call on him.
