Seeger-Pietrok Wed Gates Womans Club St Patrick’s Church Met Last Thursday Lyons—A very pretty late winter wedding was held Monday morning in Lyons, February 25 at 11 o'clock, at the St. Patrick’s Catholic church when Miss Lois Genevieve Seeger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Seeger of Mehama, became the bride of Louis Thomas Pietrok, son of Mr, and Mrs. Philip Pietrok of ’ Lyons. The altar was decorated with pink stock, snap dragons and yellow daffodils. Rev. Fr. Leander Schneider offi ciated. The bride wore a white satin gown with finger tip veil held in place with a tiara of spring flowers, and carried pink rosebuds and step- notis. Bridesmaids were Virginia Porter, cousin of the bride and Vir ginia Rogers, sister of the bride, who wore floor length dresses of blue and rose and carried yellow rose buds. Groomsmen were Clarence Pietrok, brother of the groom and Ted Rogers, brother-in-law of the bride. The wed ding music was played by Miss Jose phine Brand of Stayton and Mrs. Laurance Pietrok did the singing. After the ceremony, the young cou ple greeted their friends at a recep tion held at the Rebekah hall, Mrs. Glen Rogers cut the wedding cake, and Miss Mary Pietrok, sister of the groom did the pouring. Presiding at the gift table were Ruth Clayson, Louise and Frances Pietrok. For going away the bride chose a wine colored suit with white acces sories and wore an orchid corsage. Geo. 11. Ditto, owner of the Niagara townsite, was honored at an open house Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fish, at 2010 N. 17th street in Salem, on the occasion of his 80th birthday. Attending the open house from Mill City were Mr. and Mrs. George Flook, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vaughn and daughter, Caren. Mrs. Glen Shelton and Minister and Mrs. H. E. Jull. The Louis Drew family from Inde pendence spent Saturday and Sunday visiting his folks in Niagara. Mrs. W. R. Olmtsead has been hav ing visitors. Her daughter Mrs. Viola Eckler, and her great grand daughter Patty Mace are here from Bandou, I Ore. Mrs. Eckler and Patty Mace went to Portland Wednesday to visit other relatives. Parents, don’t forget the Cub Scout Jamboree and potluck supper at the IOOF hall next Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Walkup and family from Albany visited Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Walkup last Sunday. They drove up to see the Detroit dam in the afternoon. Mr. Walkup is the new owner of the Mill City variety store. Ladies of the Woman’s Council of the Christian church met at the church Wednesday to continue the clean-up, paint-un project in the church base ment. The main room in the base ment is being completely re-decorated with volunteer labor. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Dahlen left Thursday for a visit with relatives and friends in Canby and Silverton. They expect to be away several days. There has been a family reunion at the H. A.
