The First Christian Church will present the Northwest Christian College
Male Quartet and E. M. Eldridge, field representative for the College, in a
special service Sunday. March 2. at 7:30 p.m. The Quartet composed of
Eugene Cecil. Ray Lambert. Hap Lyda and William Pifer will present the
Gospel in song, and Mr. Eldridge will speak briefly on "World Peace." The
free-will offering will be divided equally between the College and the local
Church's organ fund.

Lester White has moved from De­
troit to Idanha.
He is to live in
“Vickersville” for a while or until
he gets relocated permanently.
“Me” Reynolds had a light stroke,
but is better now, and is back home
again.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goode of Tilla­
mook, were Idanha and Detroit visi­
tors over the weekend. The Goodes
are former Idanha residents.
V. A. “Red” Asher visited his fam­
ily at Portland over the weekend.
Mr, and Mrs. William Johnston
have as guest, Mrs. Johnston’s brother
Howard Powell of Elkhorn.
Pvt. Stephen Toycen, son of Mrs.
Pat Patterson is still hospitalized in
Japan. He has jungle fever and will
be off the line of duty for a couple of
months at least yet, so his mother
says, “Steve” is one of our hometown
boys fighting for his flag in Korea
Cpl. Frank Brasmer has arrived
home. He reached Idanha after about
three weeks of travel. He left Japan
Jan. 26th after spending 10 months
of duty in Korea. Although things
are not bad as some try to paint it
over there, he is still glad to have
his feet under “Mom’s” table again.
