was a visitor with her daughter and

Mrs. A. J. Sportsman of Sweet Home
arrived at the Soreth home on last

Mrs. Bingham, mother of Mrs.
Nan Young of Marion Forks, was
taken to the Salem Memorial ho-pital
last Friday following a severe heart
attack. Mrs. Bingham has been ill
for about two weeks. She was re­
ported improving some on Tuesday,
having been for a number of days in
the oxygen tent. Mrs. Bingham is
eighty-three years old.
Leonard Overholser who has been
in the Salem Memorial hospital in I
Salem following a fractured leg nearly I
two weeks ago was able to return to '
his home east of Stay ton on Tuesday

Otis White, principal of the high
