Mrs. Chas. Dolezal, who is general chair man of this year's show, has ap pointed several committees and has made plans for going ahead on a larger flower show this year than previously. Mrs. C. M. Cline, schedule chairman will announce the different divisions and classes of flowers and arrange ments soon. There will be a special division for junior gardeners. Mrs. Lee Owen will be in charge of the theme decoration. Other commit tee chairmen are Mrs. C. A. Bruder, entr.'.; Mrs. Herbert Schroeder, stag ing; and Mrs. H. D. Pound, publicity. The club will furnish containers for specimen blooms, but the exhibitor must use his own container for ar rangements. The public is invited to participate, and the show will be held in the Presbyterian recreation hall. Out-of-town judges will make the decisions on the awarding of prizes. Lyons—The Womens Society of Christian Service this week held an all-day meeting at the community club house. A pot-luck, no hostess lunch was served at the noon hour. In the afternoon a short business meeting was held. Mrs. Jewell Hartnell, vice president, presided in the absence of Mrs. Alice Huber, president. The society was divided into four divisions for a contest on ways and means of raising money.
