Fausts, Wed­ nesday afternoon, in honor of Mrs. A. Hawkins, a former resident of Mill City who since has moved to Silverton. A pleasant afternoon was spent in visiting. The hostess, Mrs. R. L. Faust, assisted by Mrs. Edna Ross served a light lunch to those present. Those enjoying the hospitality of the Faust home were Mrs. Hawkins and daughter, Mrs. C. A full day Monday, the first time in a long time, but it was short lived. The mills were down for low humidity at noon Tues­ day. Word has been received by friends that Lon Everly is stationed in Hawaii and Mrs. Everly and Vougn will join him there in the near future. Everly is in Navy aviation. Mr. and Mrs. Sol Tucker and Jon have just returned from a ten day trip into Canada. Tucker reported seeing “lakes and more lakes” and beautiful scenery. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Morland and children of Dallas, were guests the past weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hiebert and family.
