However the Easter bunny—with his, or her many brightly colored eggs— made it a happy day for the young sters. The grownups enjoyed break fasts and dinners with friends and relatives. Many attended services in the churches. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rush drove to Salem to have breakfast at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ritchie. The annual Easter morning break fast at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Millsap was attended by mem bers of their family, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Klecker and family of Stay ton, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Meinert and sons of Mill City and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Millsap and family of Portland, who were also over night guests. Mrs. Lillie Lake and her father, L. T. Henness, had as their dinner guests Mrs. Jennie Kitcherson, R. C. Lake and son, Arthur. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Lake, ac companied by Truman Tibbets, spent the weekend in Portland. Marshall has received orders to report for serv ice in the armed forces April 2.
