A. Franklin were callers at the Steve Dark home Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Garrison are moving to Seattle where he is employed in a yacht club with his brother-in-law. Mrs. Roberta Longnecker spent the weekend of Oct. 28th with Mr. Long- necker’s mother in Silverton. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Coleman, Mr. t and Mrs. Virgil Shaw and daughter Peggy, all of Milwaukie were callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Dark Sunday. Mr. Charles Gourley of Albany was also a caller at the Dark home Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bickett and daughters were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stewart Sr. of Mill City Friday evening. Matt Bevier of the soil conserva tion office made a survey for a drain age ditch on the Steve Dark farm Monday. Those from the Mehama local of the Farmers Union attending the pie social given by the Jordan local were Mr. and Mrs. Luther Stout, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Dark, Duray and Durwood and Mr. and Mrs. Ike Myers. Mrs. Bill Bickett and Mrs. Bill Stewart Sr., went to Portland Tues day where they will spend a few days shopping. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Dark made a business trip to Salem Wednesday.
