The Scouts of troop 43 netted over $100 at their dance Friday night in the school auditorium. Mrs. Eva Wise, former teacher in Detroit grade school, passed away in Portland last Thursday. F*uneral services were Sunday. Mrs. Wise was unable to return after the Christ mas vacation. Sunday guests of the Henry Heibert were the Weise family. Mr. Weise delivered the addresses at the church Sunday. Mr. Walter Reynolds attended his church convention in Salem the past weekend.
