DETROIT

Robert Leis, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Leis, arrived in Detroit recently
from Canada for an extended visit
with his mother. He also stopped
over several days in Hood River on
his way down to visit his father, who
is working there.
J. E. Fry left Friday evening by bus
for Seais, Calif., to see his mother,
who is in ill health.
Mrs. Oliver Johnson who had re­
turned home from the Salem Mem­
orial hospital about two weeks ago
was again taken to the hospital on
Saturday. She will remain for fur­
ther observation.
Mrs. Arlie Dickey was taken to
Salem Memorial hospital on Thurs­
day January 5 for medical treatment.
Her husband visited her there on
Monday.
