In an exclusive interview with the
District Housing Administration it
was learned that the dormitory rent
is coming back down to the old rate.
This is a direct result of the men in
the dorms sticking together and
standing up for their rights. The old
rate in comparison with the rent a-
vailable in Portland and facilities
furnished is still high.

at the Detroit Reservoir project and
were shown around by Floyd L
Whiteman who brought them down
from Portland Sunday. From the Res
ervoir area they went on up to Mar
ion Forks and then on to Suttle Lake
where they stopped to eat lunch.
From Suttle Lake they journeyed on
to Bend, Redmond. The Dalles and on
into Portland.
