A baby shower in honor of Mrs.
Jessie Britt was given at the home of
Francels Smith Wednesday.
Eight
guests were present each bringing a
lovely gift.
Mrs. E. Nelson gave birth to a
baby girl Tuesday. She is in the
Salem hospital. We expect her home
Saturday.
Gloria Westgaurd is recovering
from the flu. She has been sick sev­
eral days.
Happy McEivain was in Portland
i over the weekend where she attended
the bazaar given by the Mt Hood
Eastern Star Social Club.
Mert and Hip Carlson spent the
holidays in Portland.
Bud and Trigger Howard went to
Boise, Idaho for Armistice day, to
visit her family, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. '
Sexton and sister Barbara.
The McCabes and Jefferson took
their vacation at the coast hoping to i
fish but found the water much too
high. They did have a nice time any
way.
